Frequently Asked Questions

What if I have questions or comments about the E-Learning Project or other training opportunities available through CCIP?

Are Judicial Education Credits (JEC) approved for the CCIP E-Learning Project activities?

A circuit court judge or circuit court commissioner may earn 2.6 Judicial Education Credits during each six year reporting period. To receive credit, submit the CCIP E-Learning Project Certificate of Attendance to the Office of Judicial Education.

Are Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits available for lawyers who view the CCIP E-Learning Project activities?

No. The Board of Bar Examiners has established criteria for legal educational programs to quality for CLE credits. Supreme Court Rule (SCR) 31.05(5)(a) sets forth conditions that a repeated on-demand program must meet in order to qualify for CLE credit. The CCIP E-Learning Project activities do not meet these requirements.

CLE credits may be available for select live and on-demand programs sponsored by CCIP. These trainings and recordings can be found under the Training Calendar.

Note: If intending to claim CLE credit for on-demand content, please refer to the Board of Bar Examiners (BBE) to determine availability and number of credits for each individual program. CCIP maintains these recordings as educational resources, with CLE credits applied for where appropriate and in adherence to Supreme Court Rules and BBE guidelines. CCIP is not responsible for ensuring ongoing availability of CLE credits for pre-recorded content.

I'm having issues viewing the CCIP E-Learning Project activities or the links within the activities are not working for me. What should I do?

The learning activities are optimized for use through Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Firefox browsers. Newer versions of Internet Explorer (IE11) will no longer be supported by Microsoft and is, therefore, not recommended for use with the learning activities. Please attempt to view the activities through one of the approved browsers before contacting CCIP. Additionally, you or your network administrator may need to review your browser and/or network settings to ensure that no pop-up blockers or other security features are preventing playback or the opening of links. If after taking these measures you still experiencing issues, please contact CCIP.

Can I view the learning activities on a mobile device or tablet?

Yes, the CCIP E-Learning Project activities are available for viewing through mobile devices and tablets. It is recommended that the learning activities be viewed through one of the supported browsers listed above; however, the activites have also been determined to be functional on the Safari (iPhone/iPad) browser.
